Input Mask dash for zip code - can it conditionally appear?

Hello!

I am have a field containing zip codes. I've set up the input mask, and I
understand that I can choose whether or not I want to store the dash between
the first 5 and last 4 characters. The mask is such that the first 5
characters are required and the last 4 are optional. Ideally, I would like
the dash to be stored, but only if all 9 characters are there. If only 5 are
available the dash shouldn't appear. Currently, if someone enters the first
5 it shows as 53202-

Is this possible? Thanks in advance for your help!
