Input Mask on Calculated Query- Numbers with Text

Hello,

I have a calculated field in a query where it figures the number of
kilometers involved in a round trip. The query calculates fine, but I have a
user who wants it to display with the total plus the letters 'km' and they
want the "km" part to be an input mask so we are not holding those two
letters multiple times in our database. How would I write an input mask to
display a varying number of digits (sometimes KM are less than 10, sometimes
more than 1000) with the text "<space> km" following?

Your help much appreciated,

The information is being displayed as a query result (dynaset) so I can't use
a label.
