Inputing the $

Hello.
I am a new Mac User and I want to put the $ sign in some cells. For
instance I want cell C5 to be like C5=$C$4*C10
How do I do this here? In a PC I just had to go on the cell and hit F4.
Here this does not work.
Also I would like to know how I can make a comment that I inserted
shown.
