Insert a 1 pg doc. as a graphic in powerpoint

I am having problems creating a manual. I want to crop certain parts of a
form and insert into a powerpoint presentation but I can not figure it out.
Help

Create the page you want to insert as a single page, stand-alone document.
Then in PowerPoint use Insert > Object. Select 'Create from file'.
