insert a break in X axe

Hi all!!

I have a question for you!

Suppose you have the following value in the X axe 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10

now suppose I need to skip numbers 5,6,7 from the chart and replace them by
// or something similar. In breaf I would like to shrink the x axe.

How would you do that?

I hope I have been clear enough!
