Insert a check mark.

How can I insert a check mark into a symbol's text block? Nothing seems to
work.

I neglected to state, I'm using Standard 2002 SR-1.

Mark the text position within the text block.
Select Wingdings font.
Press Alt+0252 or Alt+0254

or

From the Insert menu select Symbol
and look for the suitable check mark
