Insert a html file into email message

I am trying to insert a dreamweaver html file into an email as a newsletter.
Outlook is set to HTML format.
Using Insert > Object > Create from File I choose the file. The options
Display as Icon or Link to File are greyed out and not available to me. The
file will only display as an icon in the body of the email. How do I display
the content of the file?

Make it stationary- tools/options/mail format/make sure it says
html/stationary picker, etc

Why not just send it as an actual file? Insert > File and choose the .html
file you wish to send. If you wanted to display the contents of the file in
your e-mail, you'll have to get the source code of the file by either
opening it in notepad or dreamweaver should have an option to view source
code. From there you can copy and paste the source code into the body of the
e-mail. However, this will only display properly if the recipient of the
e-mail opens it to view as html.
Hope this helps.
