Insert a new line between tables?

A

Alain Dekker

Hi,

If you have two tables without an intervening new line, my Word 2000 does
something really annoying. If you try and type a line between the talbes (by
going to end of the top table and pressing RETURN), Work simply adds a new
row to the top table.

How do I get "between" the tables, so I can enter a new line and type some
text?

Thanks,
Alain

USE THE ARROW KEY AND DRAW THE LINE USING THE PENCIL FROM TABLES AND BORDERS

Hey Bonnie, Stop SHOUTING.

besides, that information is not correct, ar at least does not relate to the
question that Alain was asking.

The correct procedure is to select Split Table from the Tables menu.
