insert a strikethrough in my inbox after I have actioned email.

[Strikethrough in Outlook messages]

when i insert a strikethrough to a message in outlook after i have actioned a
message. If I open the message I can see the strikethrough but when I close
it then the strikethrough does not appear. The idea is for my boss to see
that the message in his inbox has been actioned and does not need to do
anything about it. Any ideas with this one?
