Insert a video on page in Frontpage XP.

Tony

I've had my website in frontpage for over a year now. All of a sudden in the
past 2 months, the 2 videos I have inserted (insert-video-play on mouse over)
onto my page stop showing up. I've made new versions of the video, I changed
web host, and I get the message that the website was uploaded successfully.
Was there a change with Frontpage XP that has caused this? I need to get the
videos playing again.

Thank You,
Tony

probably not a change in FrontPage.
can you show a link to the page that's supposed to show the video.

also, what kind of video is it? sometimes a web host won't have a MIME type
set, so the server won't know what the file is, and therefore not pass it to
the browser appropriately. Happened to me a few months back with a .flv
file.

They were MPEG the first time and I've tried MPEG and wmv file this time. I
read a little about those FLV files and thought maybe this is one of the
problems.
I've also tried to link it to the home page thinking it needed to know were
to play. I just is agravating when it worked fine before. I would rather have
it inserted into the page then have it pop up in the windows media player.

if I could see the page where it's failing I could probably give you a
diagnosis.
