Hello Eduardo,
I came to this Forum because I was unable to find the answer to my question
after an exhausting search in Excel Help Online! So if there's anyone out
there, please help!

If you have a picture you would liek to use as your watermark, yes.

Go to View > headers and Footers

Insert your picture to the Center section by clicking the insert picture
button. (2nd from right)

While in the center section, click the format picture button. (far right)

go to the Picture tab

In the Color: drop-down, select washout.

Resize using the Sizae tab to ensure you cover the page as needed.

Which version of Excel are you using?

Excel 2003 offline help explains "watermark" in help as a sheet background.

Excel 2007 same thing.

Do you want to print the watermark or just have it visible on the sheet?

If just visible on the sheet, a simple sheet background will suffice.

You can learn how to do that using help as above.

What type of watermark do you want?

You can use Wordart with transparent background to display a watermark
message like Confidential or Draft Copy or similar.

You can also visit Bob Phillips' site for more on watermarks for printing.

Hi Joäo,
if you use FinePrint as Printer driver (www.fineprint.com/) you can
define a watermark for the printout.
Cheers and have fun
