Insert address in WORD using smart tags

Tony

On starting a letter in Word 2002, when I type a name, 'Smart tags' have
always given me an option to insert the address automatically from my
contacts list in Outlook 2002.

This has suddenly stopped?

A 'smart tag option button' still appears but there is no option to insert
the address. I don't think I have changed any settings - has anyone any
ideas of what I am now doing wrong?

Hard to be sure... If you go to Tools/AutoCorrect options/Smart Tags do you
see an entry in the list that could be this particular SmartTag? Is its
checkbox activated?

Most of the Microsoft SmartTags are language-specific. Are you certain the
text is formatted in English (click in it, then Tools/Language/Set language)?

Thanks for the suggestion.

When looking at the list within the 'Smart tags' options that you mention,
the entry 'address' is shown and the checkbox is activated.

I have checked my language settings and everything indcates that I am using
English (UK) throughout.

I can't see what else I can change. I used have the same problem on my
laptop but it resolved itself on it's own?

Do you have any other ideas?
