Insert as Printout Is Not Working

I had previously posted about my inability to print to OneNote on my work
machine (although I can on my home machine, for some reason). At work, the
program opens a new page and posts the time of the printing, but nothing
shows. In addition, the printer icon stays open as if the computer is trying
to print the job, but cannot complete it.

I have just tried using the File Insert as printout function. I get an
error message saying that the file I selected cannot be inserted as a
printout and that I must have the program in order to do so. I do have the
programs (Adobe and Word), but the print to the OneNote port fails to
function. It appears that insert as printout uses the same engine as Send to
OneNote and both hang up and cannot complete.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling OneNote and I have checked the
options for modifying Send to OneNote. Do I need some sort of administrator
rights to have the program include this functionality? Is there some other
place to look to see why this printer engine is not working?

I would really like to use OneNote to organize research and the like, but
these are crippling the functionality.

Thanks

I am running the trial version of OneNote 2007. I have tried printing from
Word and Excel, as well as programs like MindManager and NoteMap. All of
them hang up, i.e. a new page is opened in OneNote, with the date stamp, but
nothing shows on the page from the source. Interestingly, I was able to
print a printer test page successfully.

Interestingly, the ability both to send an e-mail to OneNote from Outlook
2003 and to send a webpage from Internet Explorer work just fine. I am
guessing neither of those functions depend on the printer driver to work.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled OneNote 2007 Trial Version and nothing
changes. Similarly, I have run the repair version as well.

Thanks for any help you can provide.
