Insert Cells

In my Excel 2003 app, I cut cells in Row 1, move to a lower row, same
columns, and Insert Cells, after which it takes over 15 seconds finish the
operation - it used to take a fraction of a second. # rows involved doesn't
seem to matter.

I have Excel 2007 but haven't figured out how to enable macros EVEN THOUGH I
FOLLOW Microsuck's instructions.
