Hi guys,
I need help with Project Server 2007. I¿m developing an ASP.Net application
that integrates data with Project Server. The questions I have are the
following one:
1. It is required to insert information in the data structure of Project
Server by means of an asp.net application. What I need to know is the
following thing: What considerations should i consider about the structure of
Project Server to make the insertion, what tables and databases must be
affected so that the information to be added is consistent and maintains the
referential integrity, so that this can be read from Project Professional.
Also considering the insertion of custom fields associated to the cost of the
task.
2. Another question has relation with the visualization of data in Project
Professional: I need to know why when I modify a task name directly in the
task table in SQL, this change is not reflected in the Gantt opened with
Project Pro, considering that info is obtained directly from the databases
from SQL.
Im using Project Server 2007 with Sql 2005
