insert/download font onto toolbar

I was given a disk with a project which needed editing.
While editing the font changed. I don't have the font
which was used on my computer. How do I a)find the font
and b)download the font once I find it so I can complete
this project? HELP!

Open the original document and select some text with the required font: the
font list on the formatting toolbar should show you the font name. Type that
name into Google and pray. Most (professional) fonts are copyright and are
not free to download, but you might get lucky. Or go back to whoever created
the disk and get the font from their computer.

Or don't worry about it. Most people can't tell the difference anyway. Just
pick something generally similar.
