My problem is when trying to insert and embed, as opposed to link, a graphic
into a table as a bmp. I am developing an access database which has photos
of clients.
When I choose the object type, created from a file I get he following error
message.....
"The connection with the OLE server says: the OLE server encountered and
error or Active X control was lost".
I have search the internet for possible reasons and solutions. And have
tried everything that has been suggested. These include the possible
confliction between Norton Antivirus and any firewall that might be stopping
script from running withing Access. I have removed Norton 2003 antivirus
and all other script stopping programs.
So now I am at a total loss how to solve this error problem.
What baffles me is that it also says the OLE has stopped?? and I cannot find
anywhere in Win2000 to restart the OLE.
