insert file as printout in onenote2007 not working (option is grey

I am trying to insert file as prinout (I want to insert a pdf) into
OneNote2007. This option worked great on an old installation of OneNote2007
on an older computer, but now that menu option Insert | File as printout is
grayed over and I can select. My current installation is on a computer
running 64 Bit Vista. Any ideas?
