Insert>File... losing protection/macros

P

Paul & Iain

When I use the "Insert>File" action to import one word
document into another, any macros or form protection on
the original document is lost or has to be reapplied.
(for info, the macros are saved within the document I am
trying to import as opposed to being saved on the "normal"
template).

Why?

Can this be overcome and can the document I am importing
keep the macros/protection.

Many thanks

G'day "Paul & Iain" <[email protected]>,

You could use a RD field to just plain ole link back to the other doc
so it stays intact, or otherwise you need some heavy duty automation
to pull _everything_ in.
