Insert file not responding - paper clip icon to add to new email

MIcrosoft Office XP 5.1 - When I attempt attach a photo from My Pictures
folder to a new e-mail, I am unable to open the folder. When I click on OPEN,
I get a message that says INSERT FOLDER NOT RESONDING. I don't think I did
anything to cause and don't know how to remedy the problem. I would
appreciate any help I can get on this. Direct e-mail address is
(e-mail address removed)

I've seen this as well but only on systems that just did the latest automatic
windows update
Have not figured out what the fix is yet

Word of caution for you - never publicly post your email address. It's not a
secure move.
When you post that you're using Office XP, what is the 5.1 you post?
