Insert graphic in to Word 2002 - graphic does not show

I have a new Windows XP desktop with Word 2002 running on it. When I try to
do Print Screen, paste or insert picture from file, Word thinks that
something is pasted, but the picture or print screen is not visible. Clip art
inserts just fine. I can paste or insert into Excel 2002 just fine. I have
tried running the Office repair, but that didn't make any difference. I need
to be able to paste screen shots into Word for documentation and
troubleshooting. How do I fix this?

Is this a laptop with Bluetooth? Uninstall the Bluetooth utility.

No, it is a Dell desktop fresh from the factory that I installed several
versions of office to in order to get Access 97 and Access 2000.

Did you start by installing the oldest version first? Have you patched them
all up to date. Under Tools, Options, View Tab, make sure that
PicturePlaceHolders option is UNCHECKED and under the Print Tab, make sure
that Include Pictures is checked. If this is a Dell with the integrated
Intel GMA900 graphics, go to
http://downloadfinder.intel.com/scripts-df/Product_Filter.asp?ProductID=1764
and download the latest driver for your OS and install it. Do any of these
resolve the problem?
