I want to create an entire sheet of the same label. What is the easiest
way
to insert a graphic into the label? I am using Microsoft Office 2003
I have Word 2002 (previously I used the same method with Word 97) so I hope
it works with your version. I make address labels all the time and I find
this method easy.
Open up a full page of the labels you are using (Tools - Letters &
Mailings - Envelopes and Labels and then from the "Labels" applet click "New
Document" which will open up the full page).
Type your text in the first label (top left). To insert a graphic I just
copy and paste it in from the Clip Organiser or "insert" from the Clip
Gallery. Once you have your text and graphic where you want it, select just
that label to "copy" it. then paste it into the next label over (If there
are 3 columns copy over again). Then highlight the whole row (of two or
three labels depending on what template you are using) and copy down to the
next row, etc until you have filled the page. This will "push" blank labels
onto the next page so to print I always go to File - Print and choose
"current page" rather than clicking the shortcut print icon.
For myself I find that having the default position for graphics to be set to
"in front of text". Hope this all helps and good luck and happy label
making!!
