Had no problem when using outlook on a PC. Nothing in Entourage help about how to do this. Have cut and paste hot links into the body of entourage email but they do not convert to hypertext. HELP!! They don't show "naturally" when you're producing an email. If you want to
see that they're working, save a message with links in it before you send
it. It will be in your Drafts folder. When you view it in the Drafts folder,
you'll see the blue, underscored links. You don't have to do this to embed
the links. It's just to prove to you that they're really there.

but they do not convert to hypertext

Entourage does not do hypertext. You can do this with a script, but using
this can get to be a real pain. Your best option is to enclose the URL with
< and > viz: <http://www.entourage.mvps.org/> so that if the URL wraps over
more than one line, it will still work when it gets there. Don't forget to
format with the http:// prefix.

A second option would be to type the message in Word, create all the hyperlinks you need, and then click on File>Send to>Mail Recipient (as HTML). Note that this method only works if Entourage is set as the default email application. Furthermore, you won't be able to modify a message that was created this way subsequently in Entourage; you'll only be able to add recipients and a subject line, but no attachments, for instance.
