Insert Hyperlink should pick up from URL from clipboard

I have been inserting hyperlinks into my OneNotes, particularly to other
pages. To do this I've been following these steps:
1) Right click on the page tab (to link to) and choose "Copy Hyperlink to
this Page"
2) In another page I highlight some text, right click and choose "Hyperlink".
3) Ctrl-V to paste the hyperlink into the dialogue box.
4) OK

I think OneNote could avoid step 3 here by examining the clipboard to see if
there's a URL there and automatically pasting it into the dialogue box. Check
out the ReGet download manager tool; it has this feature and it feels good!

I've probably wasted all the time I would have saved with this feature just
by writing this message.

Try:

Step 1: as described
Step 2: highlight text on other page with mouse.
Step 3: Hold CTRL key down and press: "KV enter"

Won't get much faster than that.

OK, I'll betray my ignorance on this one. What keystroke(s) is "KV Enter"??

Step 3: Hold CTRL key down and press: "KV enter"

Shorthand for the process of:

1. CTRL + K = Insert Hyperlink
2. CTRL + V = Paste
3. Enter = Enter
