With the goals of making things a bit easier on users (who have to date been
a bit lax with filling out the documents properties dialog in MS Office),
consistency of data, and efficient search returns within SPP(2003) we had
hoped that the document properties dialog could be modified to allow for drop
down selection of categories and (multiple) keywords however this does
not appear to be do-able.
Is there an MS Office add-in (commercial or otherwise) that would allow us
to create a "properties dialog-like" popup when documents are saved that is
customizable enough to allow for drop down list selection for (possibly
multiple) document categories or departments and allow for (multiple) keyord
selection via (possibly) radio buttons as well as custom keywords?
