Insert object - greyed out

Hi,
I am using project 2003, have created some views and tables,
On some of my views the option to "insert> object" is available on others
not. Although they are all gantt chart based.
Any idea what caused the option to become unavailable, so that I can work
around it?

Hi Rog,

What are the view definitions (table, screen)? Are any of the view
a combination view with a split and a lower pane? If you are
working in a combination view and have the lower pane activated, the
Insert Object command is not available -- as are many of the
commands in the insert menu -- even if the view in the lower pane is
the Gantt chart view.
