INsert Object

I am trying to insert an object in the task information summary dialogue bo

I browse to the file (both mpp file and the word file are on a removable disk but can't think that would make a difference

click OK and the 'working' icon appears for a second of two and the notes box expands and adds a scroll bar but no icon appears

ON a closer look the whole notes box is filled with a blank picture - i,e. the resizing handles are there but there is no picture. If I click OK and go back into the info summary there is nothing ther

any ideas please
