insert pdf file into web page itself not as download

Is it possible to insert a pdf file into a FrontPage web page so that it is
displayed in html not in pdf (to be downloaded). I tried saving the pdf as
"html" and inserting it, but the format gets corrupted. I'd like people to
be able to view the document while still on the main web page. I know how to
link to a pdf file, but what I'm asking is different. Thanks

You'd have to save it as a .gif. I do this all the time for quickie
newsletters that are created for print but have to go online as well. I
output to .pdf, then take the pdf into Photoshop and merge pages, crop and
save a .gif...it ain't real purty but it works...then put Import the gif
into FP and place into design of webpage. Now...this isn't gonna be
practical if there are a lot of pages, also they can be a little heavy on
file size.

Use frames or iframes to load the PDF in a frame. The frame set or
conaitner page would result in a "standard page" that inlded the other
opened docuemnts. Haven't tested it. But this how it shoudl work.

If you're viewer has Acrobat reader installed it will open the pdf within
the browser window.
