Insert PDF Files with insertions or comments as printouts Doesn't

I received an email of a pdf doc from someone with comments inserted as these
yellow sticky kind of insertions and comments. When I "save as" the pdf file
it opens in acrobat with the comments but when I save as printout into
OneNote the pdf file appears without the comments. If I insert the file and
open it from OneNote it opens with the comments, they just don't appear in
the print as version.

Anybody know what I'm talking about and/or why?

What happens when you print the document from the PDF reader software to a
normal printer? Do the comments appear on the printed page(s)?

No. But they appear onscreen in any application that I open the pdf file in
except OneNote.

When you bring up the print dialog, is it set to print the document or the
document AND the comments?

If you're using the OneNote print driver (either directly or from the
"Insert Files as Printouts" feature) it will use whatever settings are the
default for that application. From what you say the comments do not appear
if you print using the OneNote driver or a normal printer. In this case
it's not OneNote that is the problem.

I would check the settings in the print dialog box of the PDF application
to see if an option exists to print comments as well as the document
itself.
