Insert picture from file default view

Looking for a way to change the default "Insert Picture
From File" view. Currently, when I click on the IPFF
icon, the view is in "thumbnail" form. Is there a way of
changing this to default to "list" format? The thumbnails
take quite a long time to load when there are numerous
pics in that file.
