Dear fonts of knowledge
I'm compiling a report for my daughter that consists of paragraphs of text
with photographs between the paragraphs.
When I use the Insert...Picture ..from File command I can bring up the
picture and resize it. That's fine...no problems. The problem is, that you
cant drag and drop the picture to where you want it. Now I know that Word
is not a DTP package...but...there must me a convenient way of say indenting
the picture slightly, centring it, having 2 pics side by side with maybe a
gap between each picture.
What I have noticed, is that immediately after inserting a picture from
File, the handles on the edge of the picture are solid and black. I seem to
recollect clipart having white handles and this enabled you to drag and drop
the graphic. And at some point in the past I remember being able to change
the handles on a picture imported using 'insert...Picture...from file' from
solid black to white...but darned if I can remember how I did it.
So....can anyone help me pleaaaasssseee?
