Insert Picture from File

Hi all,

When ever I try to insert a picture into my word document, it ends up
shrinking to a tiny size. I've tried inserting the same image in many
different formats, but the same happens every single time.

I hope someone can help me with this!

Word appears to respect the dots per inch setting on the image file.
If you scanned a 35mm transparency at 4000 pixels per inch, you should
get an actual size image in Word about 36mm*20mm, even though some
appications would display it at 5669*3150 pixels - far too big to fit
on your screen. I suggest you try GraphicConverter[1] to see what you
are dealing with, and to change the dpi settings (in the size menu) if
needed.

Of course a cruder way is simply grab the image in Word by the corner
and drag it bigger.
