Hi,

Insert Picture does open a FInder window so that you can select pictures
from anywhere in FInder.

You can add clip art from the Objects portion of the Toolbox, or use the
Insert menu and choose Clip Art.

Thanks Jim, but I'm missing the intermediate options. If you view the video in Powerpoint 2008 help called "Download and use Clip Art" It shows a menu when you click on picture that gives you several options, one is a finder window but another takes you to Safari and the ability to download clip art, I don't get that menu I go straight to finder.

Hi

To get to that feature use the Insert menu and choose Clip Art. That
opens a secondary application called Clip Gallery. Near the bottom of
the Clip Gallery is an Online button, which will take you to the on-line
collection of Microsoft Clip Art.

The Clip Gallery application must remain open while while you are
selecting the clips you want to download. Your browser may or may not
keep the required .cil file extension to the download file. If you have
the .cil file extension, you double-click the downloaded file in Finder
(while Clip Gallery is still running) and the clips will go into the
Gallery. Otherwise, manually add .cil to the download and then
double-click to get the clips into Clip Gallery.
