Insert ppt slide into word document

I cannot seem to insert a powerpoint slide as an embedded object into a word document -- I can do this on all Windows versions since like Office 98. I am using Mac Office 2008 Pro. Any ideas or is this not yet supported? I know for sure Office 2004 cannot do it, and I was hoping 2008 could.

Hi,

There is no change in this behavior for PowerPoint 2008.

Use Help > Send Feedback in PowerPoint to explain you dilemma to Microsoft.
