insert range of file

i'm trying to insert a range of cells from excel into word. when i go to
insert, file, i select the excel doc, then click range, then put in h35:i37
into the popup box, then i click insert and get this error: this bookmark
does not exist. how can i insert a range (portion of an excel file)?

Best solution is to name the range in Excel and refer to the named range.
However, are you using Office 2007 as there's a bug in SP1 that you need a
Hot Fix to sort out.

Hi Terry,

There's a bug in Office 2003 SP3 for range names from Excel 2003 that has a hotfix. I haven't encountered one, that I recall, with
Office 2007 SP1.
