Insert Resource From Active Directory

Our Outlook direction and AD spells names as Last, First M. When I try to
insert resources into the Enterprise Resource Pool from Outlook, it removes
the comma in the name and inserts it. When I try to insert the same resource
from AD it gives me an error that the name contains a list-separator and
won't import it.

Is there a way to make Project accept names from AD like it does from
Outlook, where the comma is just elminated as a part of the
insert/synchronization process?

Dean:

If you use the AD Synch feature, the conversion takes place automatically.
It will convert commas to semicolons, so it may not be exactly what you
want.
