insert result into different cells depending on value

Dear all,
My spreadsheet uses a formula that gives either positive
or negative results. Is there a way of sorting the results
according to their value, so that positive values are
placed in one column and negative results into another
(adjacent) column?
Any help would be gratefully received, Thank you very
much.

You would need 2 formulas for that, in the positive column you would use a
condition that only returns positive values,
then in the adjacent column a formula that returns the negative values
only..
