Insert space between tables

This may not be the most complex question in the group but it's driving
me nuts. I have several tables inside of a section, one right after the
other. They are 'touching' each other with no space between. I want to
put a line-space between them so I can insert a page break or whatever.
But I can't seem to get the cursor in the right place to insert that
space. The cursor always goes inside one of the tables, not outside.
Any idea how to get that #%^&*$ space in there?

In the UI try clicking in the top left most cell of the table then pressing
the left arrow key followed by a return (Enter). If there is text in the
cell, make sure your cursor is at the beginning of the text. That *should*
put a space above the table. Watch the location of the cursor in the
designer.
