Insert Symbol not working

Just recently the "Insert, Symbol" feture is not working
on my Word 2003. I have run the "Detect and Repair"
feature and even re-installed Office (with out removing
Office Completely first)

Any suggestions? Everything else seems to be working with
Word, I can insert pics and other items just not symbols.

On a side note, I can insert symbols from Excel.

If you can click on Insert | Symbol, and see the symbols, but cannot
select one, it's usually because the x-mouse feature in TweakUI is enabled.

Actually nothing happens at all when I click Insert,
Symbol (in word) Guess I should have mentinoed that.

Look in Tools | Macro | Macros to see if there is a macro named
InsertSymbol. If so, delete it.

Nope, no macro's. Looks like I might have to try a clen
install (uninstall then re-install)

Before you do that, try uninstalling and reinstalling your printer.
