I need to insert a blank table into my document. i have
tried recording the macro to copy and paste but it does
not work because when the user in the document based on
the .dot has written in the table the macro doesnt work.
is there any way i can store a blank copy of the table
for easy insertion?
Thanks anyone!!

Yes, select the blank table and store it as an AutoText entry in the
template Be careful to select the template in the "Look in" box of the
Insert > AutoText > AutoText dialog; you can't do this with the Alt+F3
shortcut, which defines AutoText only in Normal.dot.

You can assign a keyboard shortcut or a toolbar button to an AutoText
entry for easy insertion.
