Insert Worksheet "greyed out"

I am trying to insert a new worksheet into an Excel 2003 workbook, but when I
click "insert" on the toolbar the "worksheet" option is greyed out. All other
otopns are available.

Any idead?

Sounds like the workbook is protected under Tools>Protection.

You may have to supply a password.
