Inserted Excel - Not Working

K

Tell them to install the correct version of Office on their machines. Excel
is an Office application.

I created a web page with FP2K and inserted a spreadsheet. It works fine
with some browsers/computers but not with others. In those that it does not
work, their is a blank box where the Excel spreadsheet should be in the
browser window.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

The user must have a license copy of Excel installed on their machine and be using IE as their
browser.

Is that true even if I used Insert | Component | Excel Spreadsheet in FP and
used that component to develop the spreadsheet??

Thanks.

By the way, I just checked several machines which all have Excel and use IE.
All but one works. It is an ME machine with all the MS updates. I can not
find any settings in the browser that are different from the others (all use
default settings). So, it seems it may be more than just Excel and IE.

Yes, you can use JavaScript, do a search in IE address bar as:

? JavaScript Form Calculation Scripts

Thanks much for the tip! Excel Everywhere is exactly what I was looking
for. It works like a champ!
