Greetings Group,
This is rather odd and just started today (NO changes made to any settings).
I use HTML messages by default, and have a small JPG logo which is inserted
as part of my signature.
Now, whenever I click the SEND button, the image suddenly disappears, as
does the hyperlink associated with it. Only the typical red X empty box
which signifies a missing attachment is left in it's place. Source file is
still in the same place.
If I re-insert the image, re-add the hyperlink, then as soon as I press SEND
both disapepar again. As stated, everything has worked fine for years, and
NO settings have changed. This just started today. I do know that Windows
downloaded 7 more updates upon shutting down yesterday, and am wondering if
Microsoft once again messed something up, and whether there's a hotfix to fix
it. Or if there's a setting within Outlook along the lines of "override
dummy protections and auto removal of links/attachments". Any ideas?
I am using XP SP2, and Office 2003 SP2 - no interest in upgrading,
everything was working fine previously.
Many thanks in advance for any assistance!
