Inserted objects not appearing when I print

P

Paul A.

I have Word XP. I created a document and needed to insert
a symbol. I inserted the symbol from the "insert" option.
The type of symbol I inserted was a box. I also used the
drawing tool and created my box but I could not make the
box small enough for what I wanted even after re-sizing
it. So I used the box from the insert option, when I go to
print the space is empty.

Please Advise

Thanks,

Paul

Hi Paul,

Just to be sure: you used the Insert/Symbol command? And from
which font list did you choose this box?

This could be a problem with your printer driver (assuming
the text wasn't formatted to be "hidden").

Note: you can make a textbox smaller if you:
- reduce the internal margins
- reduce the font size and line height of the text in the
textbox

You might find it better to simply draw a regular box, rather
than use a textbox.
