Inserted picture won't print

Hi there

I have the opposite problem of some I've seen posted here.

I've inserted a picture (via png) and added text boxes inside it to label
certain features. I can see the picture fine while editing. However at
print preview, and when print is attempted, all I get is the text-boxes &
arrows I've added - no picture.

What to do?

Is the picture on the background (master page)? Do you have "ignore Master page
(background)" checked?

Thanks for the reply.

"Ignore Master Page" is not checked, and the master page is blank.

I have since found that if I import my picture with much lower resolution it
will print (grainy though), but not at high resolution (a 2425 kB PNG file).
The picture is to take up most of the whole page.

What I do is install the picture as an independent bitmap. Then it stays put
and will print fine.
