Inserted Projects

When I insert a project, the "task name" which defaults is not the project
name. Where does project pull this display name from and how do I change it
to represent something meaningful? I am using Project 2000 standard.

Charles,
Well, you are using a version wherein the Inserted Task Name is not all
that definitive. In other words it might be derived from several places.
This question has come up several times in the past. Do a search on
this newsgroup for a post titled, "Inserted Project" by Cheryl dated
June 30, 2004. Follow the thread of responses from myself and other MVPs.
