Inserting a Blank line in bookmarks

Hi,
I have an document which has an bookmark. Now based on the user option, i
need to either add a blank line or delete the existing line.
Could anyone please help me on this.

What version of Word?

I'm sorry, could you explain more clearly? If you want the blank line
inside the bookmarked text, just add it. Are you trying to write a macro to
do this?

I assume you have bookmarks turned on in Word | Preferences, View tab, so
that you can see what you are doing?
