Inserting a field into a form's datasheet view

I've added a new column to the record source for a form, then added the
column to the form in design view. In datasheet view, the new column is
appended to the end (right). I want the new column further to the left
in the datasheet view. Other than deleting and re-applying the fields
in design view, is there an easy way to do this? The tab index seems to
have no impact.

Click on the column header and you can drag it wherever you want.
