Inserting a Hyperlink problem

I can't get Word 2003 to Insert a Hyperlink into a particular paragraph.
For example, I right-click on a phrase, click Hyperlink, select Place in
This Document, and scroll down the Select a place in this document:
dialog box. But at this point, the chapter heading I'm looking for
doesn't appear. In fact, none of the "Heading 2" chapter tags appear in
the dialog box. I've tried regenerating the TOC, re-typing the chapter
title, etc, with no luck. I suspect there's a problem with the Heading 2
chapter tag attributes. Any ideas?

Hello Larry,

You've landed in a discussion group for users of Mac versions of Word (not
your fault: it's a charming foible of MS's "discussions" web interface,
which I see you used). Mac versions differ variously from PC versions.
Although several people here use both PCs and Macs and may give you an
answer soon, it's likely that more people in a PC group have experienced

Thanks Clive, I'll re-submit my question in the correct place. This was my
first venture into this discussion group. I'm more familiar with Framemaker
and have come to use Word begrudgingly.
