Inserting a newsletter.pub file into a website created w/ publish

I'm a teacher creating a website for my students/parents. I have a newletter
previously created in MSPub so I can send it home to those without internet
access. However I want to insert it into the website I developed using
MSPub. Preferable with a link option so that it will update when I update
the original document. I figured out how to do it with a Word document by
inserting an object, but it doesn't seem to work with Publisher. Any ideas
on what I'm doing wrong???

I think if you made your newsletter page two of your website it would be
what you want. While in Publisher and in the editing mode of your website,
do an Insert Page. Now build your newsletter on page two. The only thing
is, you will be limited to one page. If you attempt to add more than one
page, say pages two and three it would build the three page website but it
would require a print request for each page, 2 and then 3.

Most folks would create the newsletter using Publisher, as many pages as you
wish then convert it to a PDF file and make it downloadable.

A favorite PDF creating program here is the free Primopdf. It can be
obtained at:

You didn't say what version of Publisher your are using, but assuming it is
2003, you have to upload the external file yourself when you change it...as
a general rule. You also didn't mention in what format you are trying to
post the newsletter. Assuming that the original newsletter is in print
format, converting it to web format will require some redesign. Converting
it to a pdf file would not, and thus would be faster. If you don't have a
pdf converter, then you can download www.primopdf.com , and use the web
format vs. the print format to keep the files size down.
